Division 3

5 teams sit level on 6 points at the top of the division 3 after this weekend’s round of fixtures. Top on goal difference right now are southsiders, Overlee Partizans, who hammered Glasgow AFC Redstar with a 7-3 win to set up a league clash with fellow 6 point side Crownpoint United. Redstar are still looking to find their stride in the SCAFL, but will have the chance for early revenge on Centaur United for that first week 10-7 loss. Centaur went into this weekend unbeaten but could not follow up on the promise shown in early weeks as they narrowly lost out to Linthouse 2-1. Cleddans have now went back to back with wins and find themselves in joint first with their opponents from this weekend, Crownpoint United, following a 4-3 win. Phoenix United continue their ascent from the ashes as they sit on 6 points now following  a resounding 5-2 away win to rock-bottom side Maryhill Cosmos. Cosmos are the only side in their division to not have picked up a point and need to turn the corner soon before they find themselves in trouble.
